The Sunday Boys is an inclusive LGBTQ+ choir for low-voice singers in Manchester formed by Michael Betteridge. Just drop us a message.

We are available to book via our website, so if you're looking to add something special to your event why not have a handsome bunch sing – we can even arrange your favourite songs too. We are an unauditioned inclusive low-voice choir that rehearses at Halle St Michaels, 36-38 George Leigh St, Ancoats, Manchester M4 5DG from 5:30-7:30pm every Sunday. Join us for just £5 a week and make Sunday evenings the highlight of your week. Message us and we can get you started.

We’re exceptionally proud of our very own Michael Betteridge as he makes his BBC Proms debut this afternoon with ‘Soaring through Sparks’, the world’s first concerto for the Clarion, an accessible digital instrument.

The work, performed by the National Open Youth Orchestra, celebrates inclusion, accessibility and the power of music to bring people together. A fantastic achievement and a proud moment on one of classical music’s biggest stages.

And that’s a wrap for The Sunday Boys at Various Voices Brussels 2026!

Various Voices is the world’s largest LGBTQ+ choir festival, bringing together thousands of singers from across the globe to celebrate music, community and pride.

We’ve had an incredible few days, sharing spaces with some truly outstanding choirs from around the world. It’s been inspiring, moving, and such a joy to make so many new friends. We can’t wait to see where some of those connections might lead in the future.

We were also honoured to have two fantastic opportunities to perform. First, in the stunning Cirque Royal, where we performed I, Trespass by Fraz and then at Bozar, where we shared a set of folk songs with audiences from across the festival who gave us the warmest welcome. We were especially proud to present our own commissioned works by Alex Etchart and Joy Becker

We’re so happy to have finally given an international debut to I Trespass by the wonder and talent that’s Fraz Ireland

Performed on the stage of the Cirque Royale in Brussels at Various Voices Choir Festival, I Trespass, inspired by a poem by Ella Otomewo explores q***rness as a fluid, creative journey. It navigates shifting meanings and multiple interpretations, reflecting the many ways to be q***r. Both personal expression and open invitation, it invites others to find their own path through the text.
