Calling all Mini Potters 🌟

Our next Family Ceramics - Course of Three starts Sunday 8th November 🥳

For the budding ceramicist who really wants to get stuck in, we now offer a more in depth Course of 3 Workshop. During this class you and your little potter will be guided through the entire pottery process from start to finish. Each class you will learn a different technique from hand building to glazing all taught by our experienced tutor. Classes are aimed at school age children and above, so the whole family can get involved 🎨🫟

Teen Throwing 6 Week Course 🍥

Introducing our brand new weekly class that’s just for teens! Just think, 6 weeks of screen free, headspace for your hard working high schooler. Sounds good to us!

Learning a new skill can help improve brain function, build confidence and reduce stress, making pottery the perfect antidote to a busy school life. Our 6 Week Teen Throwing Course is all about getting messy, switching off and having fun learning something new, all while making their very own pots on the wheel.

And the best bit? Our tutors are fully DBS checked, so if you fancy leaving them to it and treating yourself to a coffee, you can! ☕️

Paint your own pot drop in sessions 🎨

From Monday 26th October we’re opening our doors for drop in pottery painting 🖌️

How it works.....pick and pay for your pot, paint it using our colourful range of vitreous slips and leave it for glazing with our excellent technicians. It will be ready to collect two weeks after you finish your designs 🌈

Running from 10am - 6pm daily, with last entry at 5pm.

Teen Hand Building 🗿🔥

Introducing our brand new one off hand building class designed especially for teens and their parent or carer.

These workshops are a little different to our regular Family Ceramics classes. They’re longer, a little more challenging and ideal for young people who want to build their pottery skills while making something they’ll love.

Guided by our experienced tutors, they’ll learn a variety of ceramic techniques and by the end of the session you’ll each have created your own piece. We will glaze and fire ready for collection in 6–8 weeks 🥳

With a new project each session, there’s always something new to learn. This weekend we’re making 👻

Grab your best spooks and ghouls… this one’s for the grownups! 👻

Halloween is creeping closer, so why not get in the spooky spirit with a Porcelain Ghost Tea Light Holder workshop at Clay?

To create your ghosty you’ll start by rolling out a slab and constructing your ghost shape over a former. Then it’s time to give your ghost some personality. Using colourful slips, you’ll decorate your ghosty!

Once your ghost is finished, we’ll take care of the firing, so it’ll be ready to collect just in time for Halloween.

Who says Hallowe’ens just for kid? 🎃
