Oscillate Studio offers professional audio recordings from the convenience of a city centre location in Manchester and also Knutsford, Cheshire studio. The Cheshire studio has a large live room, perfect for drum tracking, with separate large vocal booth and control room. We have a new Neve Genesys Black desk with a Pro Tools HDX MADI system for audio capture along with all the latest recording sof
tware (Pro Tools, Logic and Ableton). All rooms have stunning precision acoustics courtesy of Roger Darcy (http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov11/articles/ra-the-book.htm) with ATC 300 monitoring. We also have an extensive array of world class modern and vintage outboard equipment with a Fairchild 670, GML8200 EQ, LA2A, 1176 and many more. A full equipment list of can be found here. We also have on hire our in-house USA Custom Pork Pie drum kit (http://porkpiedrums.com/prod/metallic-black-satin-with-black-gloss-hardware/), Remo congas and a vast array of percussion. The studio is complete with a selection of top class mics including a rare vintage 1960’s AKG C24. Our Manchester studio is just five minutes walk from Piccadilly train station, in the Northern Quarter area, surrounded by bars and restaurants. This studio is perfect for solo artists or small bands (no drums), voiceovers, audio post production (TV, film, internet), mixing, mastering, song writing and our music tech courses. Again for the Manchester studio we have world class recording equipment, including a UAD Apollo 8p audio interface, Adam monitoring, Neumann mics, with a Studio Mods acoustically treated control room and separate vocal booth.
