Here we are...after one year. We have come down to memory lane of our Fashion Show, Sutra - Thakur Barir Saaj Proshak. It's been a year since all the constant preparation, excitement, long hours of rehearsals and hard work - it was unforgettable. Devapriya Dev Mitali Dev
If you think about it, our show date JUST perfectly avoided the face of the unpredictable life-changing pandemic that we luckily missed by three months ! Phew !! Just imagine, because it was initially debated if the show could be deferred to the Spring of 2020.
We are remembering every moment with Neelay Sengupta, the fashion designer of the event, while I managed to invite Miss England Bhasha Mukherjee for a special appearance - and right at the last moment we brought in celebrities from Kolkata.

Even in these uncertain times where it is critical to social distance ourselves, we need to come together and give a toast to our Fashion Show cast members and memories. You were all incredible.

Thakur Barir - Saaj Poshak is a unique fashion show showcasing Indian ethnic culture and the wardrobe of Tagore.
The satorial innovation of the dress of men and women in the 18th and 20th century Bengal that had been initiated by the Tagore family.

HALF A YEAR! Who knew that 6 months after the Sutra fashion show, the world would be a very, very different place.
