Hailing from Manchester, England, Canopy are friends navigating life through music. Blending elements of fuzz and jangle rock with the rhythms and lines of jazz, Canopy are carving out a project that is both honest to their musical roots and consistently pushing limitations of genre.

Friday 10th July, we're very excited to have The Sick Fix headlining Manchester Academy 3, with support from Inertia, The Stags and Wholegrain.
Having recently signed a management deal with A Level Management, based in the UK
and USA, Manchester band, The Sick Fix, are already heading up the music industry lift
shaft with their own version of energetic garage punk that is liberally sprinkled with
musical influences throughout the decades. Be prepared to hear elements of The Small
Faces, The Sonics, The Jam, Buzzcocks, and The Fall, right up to The Libertines and
The Hives.

Wednesday 5th August, Philip Quinn headlines YES Basement to celebrate the official release of his second solo album 'Snazzy'
Phil Quinn is a singer/songwriter solo project based in Manchester and backed brilliantly by a band consisting of Olly Smith on Guitars, Alex Lewis on Drums/synth bass and Joe Labram. The ex-Little Volcanoes singer is back with his second solo album called 'Snazzy' and judging by the first bold lead track 'psych' it promises (as usual) to be an album packed with songs that weld themselves instantly to the brain.
