Lotrax makes his Skiptrace debut with Rivmik, a two-track EP packed with rubbery basslines, rolling breaks and chopped-up percussion.

Ahead of his Rivmik EP release later this month, we asked to give us a little rundown of the title track, his creative process, and how he manages to control the give-and-take throughout the piece. Have a watch and uncover the method to the madness.

Luke is a top lad who’s been making tracks and grounding out his identity through the underground for years. Having recently moved to Manchester, we feel this EP is a ruthless announcement of his dynamism and longevity as a serious player in the game.

Very excited to welcome our pal Lotrax to Skiptrace with his EP Rivmik coming out on 19.06.26

Glasgow’s finest lands on Skiptrace with a hefty two-track EP. Bringing an effortless attitude to his productions and a clear instinct for playful, groove-led club music, his sound is recognisable and heavy. Having released all sorts from drum and bass to eurotrance on a run of sick labels, Rivmik is a bassier take on his signature Glaswegian sound, and feels right at home on the label.

A much belated announcement to say are now blessing the AAJA airwaves every 2nd Monday of the month with our ne2 residency entitled “spilled milk” 🧃🌀

The first instalment is up now - a 2 hour bassy b2b from the skiptrace admin team (pictured - the boy’s first encounter with glasto a few years back), featuring all sorts of silliness including a couple forthcoming skiptrace bits we’re buzzing to get out.
