Take a look at how a well used board can get another life. Framed in this beautiful transluscent peach acrylic tray frame. I picked out the peach shades in the illustration. It almost looks like it's in a solid block. Love how the light gets through and give an ombre affect with the light and shade.

Ive tried to find the artist if the illustrator but ive not been successful in this mission so if you know let me know so I can tag them!

OK ok ok I've literally not posted on here for Months. Happy New Year! 😂 I can still say it as its the first post haha. It slowly creeps up that it's been a few days, then weeks, then it get so overwhelming to post anything. It becomes this big deal in my brain and so I just don't post anything and that big thing just keeps rolling down the hill getting bigger and bigger, BUT I've just come back from a really inspiring trip to Tangier in Morocco and I spent some time the last couple of days on this personal project for the studio and I'm READY to share 😂

These are Moroccan playing cards by the artist I bought at the .museum. Blue was my holiday colour and I loved seeing all the old weathered painted woods and some fantastic painted frames. I combined all these inspirations and made this frame. I LOVE IT. I've got loads more to share of frames I've made the last few months as I've been a busy lady but this is a good ice breaker.

And built layers of paints and stains. Sanded back parts, added some more design layers (my favourite bit) and finished with some clear wax. Artglass to finish off.

I recently framed this gorgeous print by Cheryl Maslen for a customer. I stained and oiled this walnut veneer and then gave it a little pop of colour on the inside edge.

I really think the wood tone works so well with the warmth of the image and the teal colour works really well with the colour palette.

Such a joy to look at the sunshine while it's so grim outside.

A customer recently brought me a print of this .booth.artist tarot card with an image of how they wanted it to be framed. Using this image as inspiration I created this frame from a textured moulding.

Painting and playing around with adding hits of colour and washes of paint it still has a similar feel to the image but with some added texture and pattern plus a painted mount.

Really enjoyed this. Finished with a hand painted double mount and artglass. If you have something special you want framed with a bespoke finish get in touch. ❤️🖼️❤️🖼️

I matched this electric blue deep bevel moulding to this blocky print. I love a good bevel! This matched the style and colouring of the print and really drew your eye into the image. The customer loved it 👌🏻.

I recently framed this 100 year old Korean artwork. We worked closely together to pick out this traditional frame with texture and aged finish. As the piece was delicate, I used conservation methods with spacers under Water white UV protecting glass. This will keep the colours vibrant and protect the work from fading. The customer collected the frame from my Manchester based studio and was delighted with the finished piece.

One of my all time favourite prints I've framed. This screen print by is brilliant and I'm sad it won't be in the studio anymore. We went for a juicy trio gradient with lime green, lemon yellow and a yolk yellow to enhance the rainbow glow of this. Econospacers to stop it touching the glass and Artglass to lessen reflection over the print. I had to contact the artist while framing this an I have to say he is a great human. Check out his shop and page he's great.

I recently framed these two beautiful abstract pieces. Customer wanted a bespoke colour to really make the pieces pop. I mixed this smokey blue grey colour that I think worked well to tie the colours together in both pieces. Bespoke painted backboard, spacers and frame. Finished with . Loved that these pieces could be hung landscape or portrait.

I can finally take a bit of a breath and start posting some of the pieces I've been making over the last couple of months. 😊 This frame is bespoke and I worked with to create this retro inspired curved frame for a 'View from the window of an empty room in 1973'. Layers and layers of different brown tones went into creating a frame that had a bit of depth and also hiding the corner joints to give a solid curved line. I left some of the brush strokes in to give it texture. Love both the print and the frame for this. Off to London this one has gone for now 😊
