I’ve been working on a new collection using second-hand doilies, placemats, and napkins to capture memories, feelings, and bits of conversations.
Each piece acts as a sort of stitched diary entry.
Documenting these thoughts, feelings, and the noise that ruminates in my head is a way to lift their weight, turning them into something I can stitch through, reflect on, and let go of.
�Once serving a quiet, functional role in someone else’s life, these lovely little table linens now take on a new therapeutic purpose in mine. 🧺🫧
