When I look back on my dance journey, I am forever grateful for the people who helped guide me, Caroline Wright and Central Performing Arts College is a pivotal part of that story.
From the moment I arrived, Central gave me refined technique, knowledge, and a deeper understanding of how to move my body. I experienced a wide variety of classes, including styles I had little prior experience in, and this completely transformed my dancing. The intense training program builds stamina and strength across all genres, preparing you not only for further study but for the realities of the industry. It shaped me into the versatile, well-rounded performer I am today.
The faculty at Central push you to achieve your goals while balancing discipline with care, passion, and belief in you. Everyone is valued, celebrated, and made to feel at home as both a performer and a person. Central are true masters of their craft, with years of professional experience and a deep understanding of the industry. They recognize and nurture each student’s unique talent, helping you grow into a confident, extraordinary performer.
Thanks to their guidance, I went on to study at Bird College and, in my graduation year, secured my first cruise contract. For the past three years, I’ve been traveling the world doing what I love, most recently returning from MSC World America, one of the world’s largest cruise ships, where I had the honor of serving as Dance Captain for the inaugural cast.
Wherever my career takes me, Central Performing Arts will always feel like home. It’s such a joy to return between jobs, share what I’ve learned with new students, and catch up with teachers who continue to support and believe in me years after I left. Their care and encouragement have made all the difference in my journey as a performer.
