Another single take (abridged) version of one of my favourite songs. Again, no audio jiggery-pokery (does compression/reverb count?) or sneaky edits. One performance, warts and all.

As much as being the centre of attention can be a thrill for me, it’s equally lovely to be plonked in a corner, left to my own devices, providing the soundtrack to the proceedings of the day.

Very excited for our next next Wednesday! Which songs will win in the head-to-head battle? Will I ever pronounce the vocal warm ups right? Who knows!

No edits, no AI, no surreptitious beautify. A soup to nuts solo performance of Seventeen Going Under, far from flawless but absolutely how I sound in the room with you.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with performing but when I think I’m doing a good job, there’s no feeling that compares.

The Gibson J185 I’m playing has been my trusted main gigging companion for over a decade now. We’ve been through thick and thin together, and I’d struggle to find a more comfortable (and comforting) guitar. A few scars to prove it.

Apologies if you were coming down to see the band in our glory at MCR Live Hub, I’ve tried to find us an alternative but it seems we’ll have to accept a Saturday night off instead.

I knew it was risky relying on this September weather and it looks like rain has indeed stopped play this Saturday (27th).

I’m pretty gutted as it was going to be one of these lovely gigs, where you feel the shackles are off a bit and we can explore some avenues we don’t normally get to.

Next chance to catch us in the wild will be Peaky Blinders on the 17th October, full 4 piece doing our thing.
