This Halloween, we’re going all out at Edison’s!

On Saturday 31st October, we’re transforming the whole venue for what should be a brilliant day and night of Halloween celebrations! 🎃

Expect spooky decorations, creepy surprises, Halloween cocktails and plenty of party vibes throughout!

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here ❤️

We’ve changed a few things, kept the bits you’d probably kick off over if we removed, and added plenty of fresh new dishes 😉

We’ve also decided to give our already popular Saturday Bottomless Brunch a bit of an upgrade 🥂

More food choices, more drinks and even more reason to start your Saturday with us 💃

Bottomless Brunch starts from 2pm and can be booked through Experiences on OpenTable.

We’re absolutely buzzing to have received the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026, putting Edison’s in the top 10% of restaurants worldwide on Tripadvisor.

We’re only a small, family-run business, still relatively new to the industry, with a small team who all put a lot into making Edison’s what it is.

To get recognition like this is something we’re really proud of.

A massive thank you to everyone who has visited us, supported us and left us a review. Reviews genuinely make such a difference. All feedback both good and bad is reviewed and we try our best to learn and improve where we can.

Some more good news… Our new menu should be launching next week if all goes to plan 👀

A little taste of what’s coming… 👀

Our brand-new menu is nearly here — but we couldn’t wait that long to show you what we’ve been working on.

So this weekend, we’re giving you an exclusive first taste with three new dishes available as specials:

🥪 THE MILANO
Grilled chicken breast, salami, mozzarella, confit cherry tomatoes, fresh rocket & pesto drizzle, served with homemade garlic aioli.

🥩 STEAK & CHORIZO BENEDICT
Poached eggs, seared steak slices, hollandaise sauce, served on toasted sourdough with crispy potatoes.

🥞 BISCOFF & CARAMEL PANCAKES
Stacked fluffy pancakes loaded with Biscoff crumb, Biscoff spread, vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce.

What a difference 🤯

5 years ago today, Edison’s opened its doors for the very first time.

What started as “wouldn’t it be cool to open a bar?” somehow turned into buying a building, getting planning permission, completing a full fit-out and eventually opening the doors in 2021 — with absolutely no experience in running a bar 😂

Looking back, it’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

Fast forward to January 2026 and, apparently not ones to make life easy for ourselves, we decided to rip it all out and start again.

It probably seemed a bit crazy, especially in the current climate, but Edison’s still wasn’t quite the bar we’d always pictured it becoming. We knew we could take it another step further.

Three months of hard graft, a few injuries, plenty of arguments and far too much money later… we got there 😂

And we genuinely couldn’t be happier with how it turned out ❤️

Most importantly, a massive thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors over the last five years.

Seeing the friendships, celebrations, nights out, dates, birthdays and probably a few questionable decisions that have happened here is what makes it all worthwhile.

We’ll keep doing everything we can to make Edison’s better and bring something great to the high street we all love.

Here’s to the next 5 years. Cheers! 🥂❤️
