Sharing the love on ❤️
It’s been a funny few years to be a small business. Launching in 2020 wasn’t ideal but there was a huge push to shop small and lots of independent stores managed to survive (and sometimes thrive!) thanks to your purchases.
It’s no secret in the small business world that this year has been tougher than ever. Lots of stores are struggling with the perfect storm of people understandably spending less because of the rising cost of living, and people returning to spending on experiences. And all those little stores have been hit by rising product costs and the cost of living crisis too.
So just a reminder on to keep shopping small when you can ❤️ you might not think your purchase is a big deal but it means the world to a small business. Not only does it help pay their bills, but every time you shop you’re encouraging a small business to keep going - reminding a creator that their work is valued and that you like what they do. And if money is tight right now - a message to say you love their work, sharing their stuff with friends and family, liking their social posts - that all goes a really long way too ❤️
