I've done this one in the past but liked it the best of those I've done for Valentine's Day and the line from the play 'A Woman of No Importance' (1893) by Oscar Wilde is
definitely the most succinct quote showing love as the supreme wealth.

Inktober Day 28; Skeletal. 'Archeological analysis of the skeletal remains, such as 'Towton 25' reveals a haunting narrative of the battles brutality through the many injuries preserved in the bones'. Geoffrey Hill.
A grave pit was found near the battle field of Towton (29th March 1461). It contained the remains of thirty odd dead soldiers (28,000 died in total it was the bloodiest battle on British soil). The wounds marking their skeletal remains bare witness to the brutality of the battle and it's aftermath. Towton 25 was between 35 to 45 years old. Probably a professional soldier who had been wounded previously and recovered. At Towton he was not so lucky. He suffered eight serious head wounds including one that bisected his face cutting from the left upper part of his skull down to his right jaw hitting the back of his throat.

Inktober Day 27; Onion. La Chanson De L'Oignon. The onion song. French marching song from 1800. Napoleon came across some of his Old Guard before the battle of Marengo who were rubbing an onion on their bread (I think rations were meager in the Italian campaign). Inktober Day 26 ; Puzzling. 'As a rule, said Holmes, the more bizarre a thing is the less mysterious it proves to be. It is your commonplace, featureless crimes which are really puzzling, just as a commonplace face is the most difficult to identify. Inktober Day 25; Inferno. Thought of Dante's Inferno, the first part of his epic 14th century poem where he travels through Hell's nine circles as his soul journeys from sin to salvation. Having read it it's clear that religion is an acceptable substitute if drugs aren't to hand.
He put Cereberus, the three headed dog that guards the underworld in Greek mythology in the third circle in his poem.

Inktober day 24; Rowdy. Thought of Rowdy Ronda Rowsey. A bronze medal olympian and silver medal in the world championships in judo Rowsey transfered her skill set perfectly into the UFC where she had a pioneering role in women's MMA. She was the first women's Bantamweight champion -shown in picture breaking Miesha Tate's arm with her signature armbar to win the title. Rowsey dominated until her shock defeat to Holly Holm in 2015.
