We want to bring the greatest comedians in the country to Blackburn, and contribute to the towns ever growing nightlife. The Diamond Comedy Club is an experience you can count on. This Saturday Sunbird becomes funny thanks to Diamond Comedy Club who present Karl Porter Comedy and Lewis Costello plus an outstanding supporting line up of funny people Hayden Allmark, Sam Serrano , Sarah J-H Comedy, Percy Savage and Oliver Bowler.

Our Story

Inspired by a visit to comedy clubs in New York, The Diamond Comedy Club was created to bring both established comedians and a new wave of acts to the North West. Our first show was in Blackburn at the beginning of 2017. In 2016, this night wouldn’t have been possible. For far too long, Blackburn’s nightlife was suffering. What was once a thriving town was slowly becoming desolate. Local institutions were closing. But thanks to the hard work of people across the community, the town began to reinvigorate itself. The return of the Napier saw dedicated people pull together in a bid to keep the town alive. In that same spirit, The Diamond Comedy Club was set up for the community. Now we’re looking to achieve the same in other places.

In 2018, we took the show on the road, and presented two shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. Whilst there, we worked with rising comedians from Manchester and Toronto, as well as friends we made across the UK and North America, to present two memorable comedy club style evenings, every single night - and now we’re bringing the experience to Manchester!

The Diamond Comedy Club is an experience you can count on. A friendly atmosphere, a little class, and a lot of laughs.
