Join us for Early Years Studio tomorrow at The Whitaker with Natalie from Earlybird Project

We’re ditching the structured games and plastic toys to make room for pure sensory play and boundless imagination.

It's nearly here folks!

On the 10th and 11th October, 10 venues right across the Bury Borough will open their doors and welcome visitors to Bury Festival of Art!

This year's festival is HUGE, the biggest yet, featuring over 100 artists, makers, community groups, and creative organisations.

It's a unique opportunity to explore the incredibly diverse range of talent within our borough, from pottery to poetry and sculpture to sketching.

Many of the artists will be selling their work too, so you'll have plenty of choice if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind piece to gift or add to your collection.

Visitors can also get hands-on and explore their own creativity by joining drop-in workshops led by practising artists (more on these soon!).

Seems like ‘just another one of my crazy ideas’ is actually happening IN REAL LIFE!I’ve had this vision forever that the kids out there would love to purchase artwork but at pocket money prices. So I’ve only gone and bought a retro vending machine that will dispense small art prints and stickers for £1 a go. I’m planning a whole host of ‘make one and take one’ workshops where children can help to stock the machine. But to start us off I was wondering if any of my wonderful artist pals would be up for donating a few mini prints for the machine. Be in touch if you want to get involved. Do it for the kids!
