Y la obra también más valorada y comentada entre la obra figurativa ha sido “Ophelia”, a parte de otras que también han llamado la atención, está ha sido la que más me han comentado que les ha atraído, quizás en gran parte por donde estaba ubicada y la iluminación que tenía, que la hacía resaltar más.

Igualmente voy a sacar una serie de impresiones en alta calidad tamaño 28 x 28 cm, bajo demanda por solo 25€ (gastos de envío incluidos en España).

Haciendo balance de la exposición, está ha sido la obra de paisaje urbano que más ha gustado entre el público, lo cual ha sido una grata sorpresa para mí, ya que había, en mi opinión, otras obras más “elaboradas”, trabajadas compositivamente o más del gusto general.

Voy a sacar una serie de impresiones en alta calidad, a tamaño 30 x 30 cm, por tan solo 25€, (gastos de envío incluidos en España).

Hoy hice mi primera visita al IVAM. Tenía ganas de ir por ver lo que me podía a encontrar. Siempre que voy a un museo de arte contemporáneo voy con cierta cautela, a la expectativa de ver hasta donde llega el arte, si solo la idea ya da fundamento a la obra o hace falta ser muy abierto de mente para llegar a entenderla. Me ha gustado la obra de Julio González, por todo su contexto histórico en el que se desarrolla, principio del S. XX, periodo de entreguerras. Muy interesante. La obra de Anna Boghiguian también es de resaltar por todo lo que supone de denuncia. Recomendable la visita.

Una de las cosas que me atraía de venir a Valencia era conocer de primera mano la obra de Sorolla, la ciudad y los enclaves donde él pintó. Y sobretodo la luz, la luz del Mediterráneo que inundó toda su obra y por la que se dio a conocer internacionalmente. Estas dos obras las hice cuando comencé a pintar hace ya doce años y me sirvieron de punto de partida para trabajar principalmente la luz.

Last days have been a cocktail of nerves and excitement, waiting the paintings from the move and selling any paintings in the meantime. Finally everything arrived in perfect condition and I can focus on the packaging now. This painting has been sold and going to a new home at Tennessee, USA. So glad to know that and thanks a lot to the buyer to acquire this wonderful artwork. Definitely this is one of my favs ever.

Living the dream!!! Today I have to thank to a new buyer by the purchase of my painting “Your time is over”, an artwork based on Mark Lamey’s work, which is going to travel to South Korea. As I said yesterday, it’s amazing feeling the appreciation by your work, specially coming from so far away. This is my first selling in Asia, so I’m so excited for that. Thanks a lot again to the buyer. Hope you enjoy it!!

Today I don’t fit in my suit!! Happy to announce my painting “The trance of the sibyl” is going to be sent to a new house at California, USA. There is no better feeling that knows an art lover appreciate your work in a such way. It’s very special for me knowing my work is crossing oceans and gonna take part in people’s life. Now I must tie all my nerves to manage all the shipping, specially when I am in the middle of moving abroad. Anyway, thanks a lot to the purchaser to acquire one of my fav works! Hope you enjoy it, this is a part of my soul!

Quick visit to Leeds today. I looked forward to visit the Leeds Art Gallery due to the importance of the collection but I have to say it was a bit disappointed due to the closure of the first floor. Anyway there are many other museums to see, markets and beautiful Victorian arcades all around the city.

So interesting to hear directly from the artists their procedures, influences, inspiration to create such an amazing works. Apart of that I had the chance to share opinions with other talented artists that enriched my understanding over their works.

I never thought this moment would come. I still remember the day I arrived here full of hope and projects, with so many things to do. During these 6 years in AWOL Studios many things have happened, I have been building my artistic career, what will always be part of it, I have lived with incredibly talented people who have given me a very positive influence. It has been 6 years where the studio has become my refuge, my place of scape from the world, where I have found complete happiness. I always carry you on my heart for everything it has meant and the people I have met over these years. I gonna miss you a lot.
A new chapter starts now!!

Delighted to have been on the preview at “In Manchester “ exhibition organised by . It was a great time to meet with so amazing, talented artists and better human beings. Finally I could have a chat and share a bit of time with artists I admire and discover the work from others I will admire from now on. Alte Nationalgalerie, Berlin.
Hoy fue el turno para visitar uno de los museos que alberga muchas de mis obras favoritas. Con obras del romanticismo alemán, realismo y simbolismo. Cuando el la universidad me explicaron el significado de lo sublime en el arte lo primero que me enseñaron fueron las obras de Friedrich y enseguida entendí por qué. Toda una experiencia visual y sensorial. Un museo de visita obligada que no te puedes perder si visitas Berlin.

Everyone reminds all these artworks that once astonished us and we have in our fav list forever. This is one these from my university days. I wanted to make it on watercolour, which is too daring for me yet, considering myself still as beginner with watercolours, but I have to say I’m enjoying a lot although I need to get a bit more confidence on my wrist.

Proceso de barnizado. Aunque la cámara no lo recoge fielmente, es interesante ver durante el proceso de barnizado como vuelven a resurgir los colores y matices que habían quedado totalmente opacos una vez se había secado la pintura sobre el lienzo.
