Introducing Grace to our team ๐ฉท
I have always loved dancing and started my passion early having lessons in ballet and tap at 2 years old performing in shows at the local dance school now known as Theatre Dance Studios, which will always be my first love.
I then progressed into Disco Dancing competing all over the UK, including the Eurpoean Championships held at Blackpool Tower Ballrooms, where I won titles in disco, slow dance and duos. I then started to train at Dawsoms Academy of Dance and Stage taking exams in RAD Ballet and IDTA tap, modern and Jazz. I was also performing in shows at Bolton Albert Halls and Manchester Opera House.
I found a new interest for cheerleading and again competed all over the UK, I really enjoyed the team spirit of cheerleading and it motivated me to later audition for Wigan Warriors cheerleading team, where I spent five seasons performing at half time on the pitch and performing to the crowds pitchside.
After High School I attended Winstanley College in Billinge where I did A levels in Dance, Drama and Performing Arts, which naturally led me to start a Dance Degree at Liverpool John Moores, where I was awarded a schloarship for gifted and talented performers. During my second year at Univeristy I went to Pineapple Dance Studios in London auditioning to be part of the character and performer department in Paris.
On returning from Paris I started teaching freelance classes in street and cheer dance to children amd adults of all ages. I really enjoyed teaching and sharing my love of dance and performance, where I set up cheerleading teams for local football clubs and enjoyed being part of a team with community spirit again.
In recent times I love princess parties, sharing special moments with the children and making magical memories with them ๐ค
