The Three Counties Showground opens at 14:00 today (Friday).

Opening times for Saturday & Sunday are 8 am with all display cars requested to be in place by 10 am.

IMPORTANT: Leave your barbecues at home!

We have been advised by the showground that due to the extreme drought conditions that the showground is currently experiencing, there will be no barbecues permitted on site. Camping gas and stoves are allowed but must be elevated off the ground.

This rule will be strictly enforced for the safety of all at the event.

Catch Simon and Rachel in Wye Hall!

🔸 Simon Ball and Rachel Revington of WOLF Developments will be at Car Club Fest 2026 all weekend on the Triumph TR Register Car Club stand with the famous Triumph TR3 Prototype Beta owned by Neil Revington.

This very special TR3 was the Triumph development project that paired a TR3A body with a TR4 style chassis. This meant the body needed wider front and rear wings to cope with the wider track of the prototype TR4 chassis.
Triumph Engineers came up with this idea in the early 1960’s when Triumph couldn’t afford the tooling for the new TR4 body shell penned by Giovanni Michelotti and saw this as a way to sell more TR’s in an updated form prior to the introduction of the TR4.
Two cars were built and became known as the Black Beta and the Red Beta (Beta being the code name for the project). The project was later scrapped when Leyland took over Triumph and provided cash for the TR4 body tooling.
The Beta incorporated many of the TR4 parts such as synchromesh gearbox, wider rear axle, rack and pinion steering, as well as the wider track chassis.
