Coming to the RFU Academy Festival this week? Read this first 🚧

Woodshears Road will be closed until 8 August, so please use Clarence Road to access Court Road Playing Fields (WR14 3BT) instead of the usual entrance. Coach drop-off is also on Clarence Road (WR14 3EQ).

The RFU Academy Festival returns to Malvern College this August!

We're delighted to be hosting this year's festival across two days:
🗓️ Wednesday 5 August - U18 Defender Next Gen League
🗓️ Thursday 6 August - U17 Summer Festival

Gates open at 9:30am on both days. Entry is free and open to everyone - come along and support some of the country's best young rugby talent across a packed schedule of fixtures at Court Road Playing Fields.

There'll be plenty to eat and drink on site too, with The BBQ Society serving up award-winning BBQ and smash burgers, wood-fired pizza, ice creams, coffee, soft drinks and more.

Due to local roadworks, access this year is via Clarence Road rather than the usual route — full details, fixture schedules and a site map are all on our website.

We are delighted to once again host such an incredible event. The standard of rugby is so high and set against the stunning backdrop of the Malvern Hills, it will once again be a fabulous celebration of the game and the next generation.

All are welcome to come along to Malvern College to watch the matches on our fabulous Court Road site. There will be food and drink available on the day for spectators.

The fixtures for the Defender PREM Next Gen League 2026/27 have today been confirmed 🙌

The season gets underway on Wednesday 5 August at Malvern College, where supporters will be treated to a festival of rugby featuring five league fixtures across two pitches 🔥
