We just got back from a two day stay at Thorpe Park. 🦈
We are going to keep this review short and VERY sweet. 🍬 🍬
Thorpe Park was incredible! 🤩
This is our favourite UK park for a reason and this trip solidified exactly why we feel this way.👌
For a change we are going to start with the quality of operations here…
They are second to none, and when we say this we mean we have NEVER experienced operations as good as at Thorpe Park.😲
During this trip they never missed a beat. Every single ride op was attentive, knowledgable, enthusiastic and incredibly fast! It’s clear that the ride ops at this park have a love and loyalty to the rides and to call them friendly is an understatement. Every ride was running like a well oiled machine thanks to the teams on them.😎
Our biggest shout out has to go to the Stealth team. Not only were they banging trains out in 50 seconds or less, they were putting on a show with it. We enjoyed watching them do their jobs and absolutely smashing it!🤩

Now onto the rides. Every single ride we got on over the two days did not disappoint. Down time was minimal and rides were back open in no time if they did go down for any reason.👍
We got on most of the rides at the park multiple times during our visit. From Nemesis Inferno to Rush. Saw: The Ride to Big Easy Bumpers, they were all on top form. We struggle to find anything to fault them and with such a wide variety of coasters and flat rides we never had a spare second. Having said that the stand out rides for us were Detonator, Hyperia, The Swarm and of course Stealth! (Still our number one in the UK by a mile!)☝️
The park was busier than we expected but we never struggled to get on rides. Queues, although long, were being eaten away by smooth and efficient ops and the most important bit…everyone was having a fantastic time!
The cherry on top was, once again, our Shark Cabin for the night. 🦈 Comfy, clean and much needed after a none stop day we were grateful to have this cracking on site accommodation to fall into. A shout out also has to go to The Hungry Horse Twynersh, a pub about a five minute drive from Thorpe Park, for keeping us very well fed both nights with fantastic food (and a massive gluten free offering too).
Why do we believe Thorpe Park is the best UK park, especially for thrill seekers like us? After our two day stay it seems hard not to be immensely positive about it. Many may think we are being falsely positive or ‘blowing trumpets’ here. To anyone who feels this way we suggest you get to Thorpe Park and experience it for yourself, and compare it to other UK parks. The proof is in the pudding, and riding.🎢
Thorpe Park has the perfect ingredients for any thrill seeker and thrill seeking is our cup of tea. We will certainly be back as soon as possible to this Island, that remains, like no other, in the best possible way. 🫶
