Supporting sport in our town👇🏻

Forever Padel, at Boughton Farm Estate, Boughton Monchelsea, is Maidstone’s first — and currently only — indoor facility to play padel. It is located on a brownfield industrial site, away from residential homes, and around three miles from Allington🚘

Aside from rapidly becoming a lover of the sport myself (albeit a bad player!) and a frequent visitor to Forever Padel, I fundamentally believe that residents of our county town deserve sufficient access to a variety of sporting facilities. Sport is important not only for physical and mental health, but also for building community spirit and bringing people together🎾

Forever Padel is also much more than a sports facility. It is a local employer and a family-run business, contributing to our local economy📈

Following a courtesy email to Cllr Dawes, the ward member for the area, I have written to the relevant planning officers to express my absolute support for their application for an earlier opening time⏰

Opening at 6am (rather than 8am) would be a positive step for the facility as well as residents across Maidstone, particularly workers, younger professionals, students and early birds!
