Roundoak is set in the heart of the Kentish countryside, south of the county town Maidstone, on the southerly slopes of the Greensand Ridge overlooking the beautiful weald of Kent. The grassland farm consists of approximately 120 acres including 5 acres of natural oak woodland. We have a sister farm at nearby Ulcombe with a further 80 acres. The farms conservation graze approximately 1500 acres th

roughout central Kent of many conservation groups such as KCC, Kent Wildlife trust, Medway Valley Countryside partnership to name but a few. The Roundoak flock is unusual in this part of the south east. It was the idea of Norman and Ruth Coles to purchase the flock which started with 16 ewes and Winkwell Falco the ram. Our first sheep were purchased on the Borders of Scotland and England from a hill farm near the Kielder Forest in Cumbria.Our first lambing season in spring 2005 produced 32 lambs from 16 ewes, two sets of triplets, mainly twins and a few singles. All mothers lambed themselves outdoors without outside intervention. We only lost two lambs that were stillborn.

This is a date for your diary!!

24th September at our beautiful Roundoak farm in Sutton Valance, partnered with My Tipi Event our hosting a stunning woodland wedding fair 11.00am - 4.00pm

My Tipi Event will be showcasing 3 of their stunning Tipis and bringing the surrounding woodland to life with live music, woodfired pizzas, bars and suppliers galore.

The most creative and one of a kind, mobile bar for every event!

Roundoak's Cattle trailer has been hand crafted and created by Paul Hutton the Farm Manager into Roundoak Event's mobile bar. With Paul's innovative ideas he has transformed this farm essential into an essential must see drinking place! This certainly will give guests the WOW factor. More photos to follow:

Secondly, The Woodland Bar, we are now offering event guests the addition of our ready made bar set in our beautiful oak woodland. Guy who runs the bar, can tailer your party drinks to what you like. Efficient, high class and an affordable addition to Roundoak Events!

Our beaut Yard Bar!

You may not know but we have converted one of our barns to our unique Yard Bar. This venue setting is in the main farm.

It is ideal for smaller wedding or events with a max of 70 people.

It comes with a bar area, (not stocked) fire pit and stage. There is access to a toilet block too.
