From little girls in black and pink,
To confident young women in the blink
Of what has somehow felt so few,
The years have simply flown for you.
Within St. George’s week by week,
You found much more than dance technique.
You found a place where you belonged,
Where friendships grew and hearts grew strong.
With every class and every show,
We watched your confidence steadily grow.
Through laughter, challenges, smiles and tears,
You’ve filled our school with wonderful years.
You learned that hard work brings reward,
That kindness matters even more.
That every stumble, every fall,
Can help you stand a little taller after all.
Some of you will dance on still,
Chasing dreams with strength and skill.
Others now will choose a different way,
Beginning brand new dreams today.
Whatever path your future brings,
Remember all these precious things…
The friendships made, the memories shared,
The moments when somebody cared.
