Culture Calendar secure group bookings, but approximately 10-12 weeks before the organized coach trip, we surrender any unsold availability back to the venue.

This ensures that the venues are not left with unsold prime seating, but it also ensures that Culture Calendar do not pay for the organised coach trip that they haven't sold.

So, if you're hoping to secure a place just two weeks before the trip, you will miss out!

The very last thing we ever want to do is see anyone miss a trip.

When you book your trip you will receive an automatic confirmation of your booking via email.

Approximately 1 month before your trip you will receive an email to confirm pick up points and times. This confirmation also confirms that you must be at your pick up point at least 10 minutes before the pick up time.

You will receive a second and final confirmation of your pick up point and time approximately 5 days before your trip. This confirmation also confirms that you must be at your pick up point at least 10 minutes before your pick up time.

If you have not arrived on time - we may ask our driver to wait just 5 minutes more, but we will not wait any longer, as this already makes us late to the next scheduled pick up point and time.

Regrettably, if you are more than 5 minutes late to your pick up point you may miss your trip, and we will be unable to refund your trip.

Culture Calendar organized coach trips always book seats in the Theatre Stalls because we believe they are the best.

Culture Calendar also feel that stalls seating is amongst the safest seating because there is less of an incline / decline.

Culture Calendar feel that this is the best provision for our clients as some have mobility needs.

An important question, and always worth asking prior to booking any Culture Calendar Trip.

Some venues do not have the facilities to accommodate disabled guests ie., ramps / lifts.

We hope that Culture Calendar may be able to offer organized coach trips to disabled guests at some point in the future, but these would likely be a separate trip, because we would need to hire a different coach, as wheelchairs usually need more space than a standard seat.

The disabled person would also need to be accompanied by a carer.

Typically, Culture Calendar trips are for adults, but there are definitely occasions where you will be able to bring accompanied children along, and the age range will be specified on the event at the time of booking.

Your Culture Calendar Host will make this announcement before you depart the coach, so that everyone knows exactly when and where to meet and at what time.

Your Culture Calendar Host will suggest that you use your mobile phone to set a time reminder alarm, so that you're prompted to rejoin your party 10 minutes before the time set by your host.

This is a really great question if you don't drink, because most of Culture Calendar Group love the opportunity to leave the car on the drive and make the most of the coach travel.

So ... simply speak with your Culture Calendar Host on the day, and we will run through the drinks bill with you and simply pay for what you have had.

Culture Calendar do ask all guests to leave a tip of at least £2.50 per head when joining a group dining event.
