We have had to make the difficult decision to 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁’𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗻. Due to an unfavourable northerly wind and the limitations of the site and event area, any firework display when the wind is coming from this direction will result in debris fallout directly into Market Square and surrounding area.

The safety of the public is our priority, and we cannot risk any fallout of the fireworks over spectators. Our event safety team has made this decision to ensure the public and all parties involved are kept safe at all times. We understand that this will be disappointing for those of you who had planned to attend this evening’s event.

The next opportunity to view a fireworks display in Mid Ulster will be tomorrow evening’s Halloween event at Mid Ulster Sports Area, Cookstown, with the remaining Halloween events being held at Coalisland and Maghera next Friday 31 October.

Samba was a little bit different last night but still very enjoyable.

No workshop next week on Monday 30th but back at it on Monday July 7th.
