Winter looks a little different at Splash. ❄️

The Aquapark may be packed away, but this time of year brings its own kind of magic... quiet water, crisp air, cold swims and the warmth of the sauna. 🔥

A chance to slow down, switch off and reset.

And just like that… the Aquapark is off the water for another season. 👋

A big clean, dry and pack away, and the lake suddenly looks very different!

Now Splash moves into winter mode ❄️ with Open Water Swimming and our Cold Water Swim & Sauna Experience taking centre stage over the months ahead. 🏊🔥

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the Aquapark this season! We’ll see it back on the water in 2027! 💙

The seasons are changing, and so are our opening times!

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, with sessions running Friday–Sunday before we wrap up another brilliant Aquapark season. 🌊

But Splash doesn’t stop when the Aquapark closes! Throughout the quieter months, you can still get your water fix with:

Swim Ulster are back with us for their final Beach 2 Buoy session of the year!

The details are as follows:

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: Saturday 24th October 2026
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀: 10:00 - 11:00

The session will provide the following topics and skills:

Entries & Exits, Sighting, Cold Water Acclimatisation, Flotation, rotations & orientation, Treading Water, Emergency Signalling & Implementing post recovery plans.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿:

Anyone who wants to become a more efficient swimmer, who wants to enter a swim/triathlon event, who wants to be a more confident swimmer and swim further in open water.

𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Be aged over 18yrs

A FREE Swim Ulster Swim Cap will be provided for all those who attend the session. Please note: The use of a tow float is mandatory and this is must be supplied by you and is NOT provided by Swim Ulster.
