Parent carers spend so much time caring for others, so making space for your own wellbeing matters too.

Join us for a relaxed woodcraft session at Bryntirion Community Centre. Woodcraft is a simple, hands-on creative activity using wood, and can be a lovely way to switch off, reduce stress and enjoy a sense of achievement.

No experience needed — just come along, have a cuppa, get creative and take a little time for you.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteer, Cerys Littlejohn.

For well over a year, Cerys has given up her Saturdays to volunteer at Little Paddocks Maesteg CIC. She does it not for pay, but to gain experience and learn about the dedication, hard work and compassion needed to care for animals. We truly treasure her and are so grateful to have her as part of the Little Paddocks family.

This month, Cerys once again showed us exactly what she's made of. Although she has no connection with ITEC Skills and Employment, she and her wonderful mum, Nic, took it upon themselves to complete the sponsored 7-mile walk in incredible heat to raise funds for Little Paddocks.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), Little Paddocks is a not-for-profit organisation, which means every penny raised goes directly back into caring for our animals, maintaining their welfare and supporting the work we do for our community. Fundraising like this really does make a difference.

Together, Cerys and Nic raised an incredible £220 – a fantastic achievement that once again demonstrates Cerys's commitment, dedication and selfless support for everything we do. It also speaks volumes about her character, kindness and outstanding work ethic.

From everyone at Little Paddocks Maesteg CIC, thank you both so much for your amazing effort and generosity. We are incredibly proud of you and truly appreciate everything you do.

A huge ✨ thank you ✨ to everyone at **ITEC Skills and Employment** for taking on an incredible sponsored walk to raise funds for
💜Little Paddocks Maesteg CIC💜

The team completed an amazing 🤩 7-mile trek from Porthcawl Bus Station, through the sand dunes, and on to Bridgend in extremely challenging conditions. With the hot temperatures we've been experiencing, it was no easy feat, making their achievement even more remarkable.

We are truly humbled by your kindness, determination, and generosity. Please accept our warmest thanks and heartfelt gratitude for the funds you have raised. Your support will make a real difference in helping us keep Little Paddocks open, safe, and welcoming for everyone who visits.

The money raised will go towards replacing sections of fencing that are long overdue for repair and building a new shelter for some of our animals, helping us continue to provide them with the care and safe environment they deserve.

From all of us at Little Paddocks Maesteg CIC, thank you for believing in what we do and for going the extra mile—quite literally! We are incredibly grateful and so proud to have your support.
