This week’s Colours of the World portraits are finished, and our student artist have done a brilliant job celebrating the amazing variety of skin tones, features and personalities.
No passports were required just plenty of paint, colour and a good sense of adventure!

Every dog has its day…and this week it was their turn to be the stars of the art class!🐶🤩
Big personalities, wagging tails and plenty of energy, expressive brushstrokes and movement made this one a joy to paint🎨 🙌👏

This week’s lesson was officially sponsored by yesterday’s newspaper… 📰😂

After giving it a good tear up, we transformed it with gesso, acrylic paint and charcoal into beautifully textured coastal scene! 🚤 🌊
We loved exploring the endless possibilities of mixed media and discovering how combining different materials can completely transform a painting. 🙌👏

We kept things nice and relaxed 🌼🌸🎨. A vibrant flower pot, watercolours and a chance to simply enjoy painting. The perfect way to round off our watercolour sessions before we move on to our next adventure. 🪴🌸🌺🌼🪴

Introduction to Urban sketching- with a twist!

Students brought these urban scenes to life with coloured paper, loose watercolour washes, and expressive line work. By focusing on shapes, colour, and imagination rather than perfect perspective, they discovered that urban sketching can be playful, creative, and a lot of fun! 👏🙌
