Just a quick post to let you know that the step-by-step instructions for my Cenotaph and Miniature Wreath are available on Etsy too.

The Cenotaph is a great upcycling project made from old cardboard boxes and grey felt fabric, and you can choose to either knit or crochet the matching miniature wreath to go with it.

A great addition to go with my other Military tribute patterns.

Hi lovely people :)
I hope you are all keeping well.
I never seem to stop! For the past few months I've been joining in with an art challenge which has been so much fun!

I've also been creating a new knitting pattern.
I felt so honoured when Betty Murphy, founder of the, "Descendants of the Rats of Tobruk Australia Association Inc," contacted me about designing a WW2 Australian Nurse.
Thank you so much Betty for giving me this opportunity :)

So here she is, my interpretation of a WW2 British and Australian Nurse.
Made on straight knitting needles, using Stylecraft Special DK yarn.

My husband just came out of the bathroom chuckling.

Me: "Okay, what have I done now?"

He spotted a few of my PHD's. 3 crocheted dolls on the table in the lounge and 1 doll on my desk in the bedroom, even though I have a whole craft room 🤣

So I shared a couple of jokes with him.

"I need a bigger box for all my craft supplies.
My husband looked at me and said, "You need to stop calling our house a box."

It's July! Happy new month to you all!

What are you all working on?

This was the last thing I made because I hate getting cold hands while holding my milk shake 🤣

Happy Monday my beautiful people. I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I had a lovely day yesterday and it was topped off by a few games of Snooker, spending some quality time with my husband, our Son and his girlfriend.
We had so many laughs and played for 4 hours!!! 😮 The time just flew by!

I spent today with 3 of my daughters, 1 of their partners, 3 of my grandchildren, a little bit of crochet ... and a few more games of snooker with hubby, Son and his girlfriend again 🤣

I am so lucky to be surrounded by so many of my favourite people. My heart is full of love.

Happy Monday my beautiful people.

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine 😊

This is actually a bit of a sad post today ...

I receive so many words of kindness and lovely reviews that I was a little shocked, and saddened, by this one.

⭐ "Bad design!! Not worth your time."

I'm not sure what they had problems with as I haven't received any messages to ask for help.

My patterns do have abbreviations and a description of how to achieve the crochet stitches.
However, there's a possibility that they have mistakenly crocheted in US terminology.

I would have helped them 100%, with any problems they were having.

For anyone having trouble with my patterns, please, please, please message me for help before leaving me a bad review.

Making sure my customers are happy, is something that is very important to me.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am all about hearts and butterflies.
Today is a new day. Let's make it a happy one 🥰

So, EVERY week we go to Truly Scrumptious Luxury Ice Cream.
I have a milk shake and my hands always get sooo cold!

So, I made myself a cozy and put a handle on it too 😁
I didn't realise I'd made it in Truly Scrumptious colours until just now! 🥰

I tested it out today ... and it worked perfectly!
