What a way to finish our summer sessions at Connect! We ended the term with our members taking a turn or two in the spotlight, followed by a mass singalong and there was a LOT of fun, laughter and brilliant surprise dance moves!

This is exactly what Singing for Creative Health is about for us: creating a space where people can connect, play, be themselves, build a sense of belonging and strengthen community resilience through the simple joy of singing together.

We absolutely loved the surprise performances and seeing everyone getting involved. It’s wonderful to look back and see how this community is growing, not just in numbers, but in confidence, friendship, connection and sheer joy.

What a summer it’s been!
Here’s to more singing, more play and more community when we’re back! 🎶

What a fabulous launch for Hidden Harmony Club!

Wow... we honestly couldn't have asked for a better first event. It exceeded all our expectations, with an afternoon full of music, laughter, dancing, friendship and so much joy.

A huge thank you to the incredible Beverley Sargeant Houlihan from Together in Tune , who serenaded us with her beautiful, sultry voice and wonderful songs, and to Brian Porter and Mullin, who shared their passion for dance and had everyone up on their feet, smiling and moving together.
Special thanks to Lytham Gin for supporting the event and helping us create our very own Hidden Harmony Club secret recipe cocktail! 🍸✨

It was wonderful to welcome people from Hollins Bank Blackpool, Visiting Angels Fylde Coast and so many other organisations and members of the community.

Together we created an inclusive, accessible space where everyone could feel seen, heard and celebrated.

Raffle prizes were kindly donated by Stringers Lytham Rose & Navy ’s cafe
It was great to be able to donate to Trinity hospice, The Red Cross, and The Salvation Army to provide the fabulous glitz, glamour, fashion and accessories that helped make the afternoon feel so special.
And a huge thank you to Christopher Cottam Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish Centre for offering their brilliant space to host the event and volunteers to support our members.
And Jess at Present Posters for the perfect Hidden Harmony Club branding and design.

Hidden Harmony Club is all about bringing people together through creativity. Whether you love to sing at the top of your lungs, dance around the room, tap your feet, clap along or simply hum quietly in your seat, you're part of it. There's no right or wrong way to join in, just come as you are.

Growing older doesn't mean growing quieter. The love of music, laughter, dancing and connection never disappears. There's a spark, a sense of fun and a zest for life in every generation, and Hidden Harmony Club is here to celebrate exactly that.

Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, performer and guest who helped make our first Hidden Harmony Club such a success.

This week we took a little time to celebrate the incredible volunteers who are at the heart of Connect Community Choir.

They’re the first to arrive and the last to leave. They set up the room, welcome every new face, make the tea and coffee, offer a listening ear, and create the warmth and kindness that makes people feel they belong.

It’s these everyday acts of care and generosity that build resilient communities. Our volunteers don’t just support the choir, but they help shape our culture. They create a space where people feel safe, valued, and connected.

It was lovely to share lunch together, reflect on everything we’ve achieved as a team, and simply say thank you. We’re incredibly proud of what we’re building together. It reminds us that community isn’t created by one person. It’s created by people who choose to be there for each other, week after week.

To every one of our amazing volunteers, we say a huge thank you. Connect Community Choir wouldn’t be the same without you. ❤️🎶

What a beautiful way to celebrate the season 🌸

Our Connect Community Choir Spring Celebration at the Well Centre in St Anne’s was full of everything we love about Singing for Creative Health.
Connection, joy, and community.
From chats over tea, coffee and cake, to dancing along to Sinatra, singing music across the eras, and plenty of musical bingo… there was laughter everywhere you turned.
A big thank you to Visiting Angels Fylde Coast for your support, it was so lovely to welcome your members and share the time together 💛

Moments like these remind us how powerful it is to come together, lift our voices, and simply enjoy being human together.

Wishing everyone a restful Easter break – we’ll see you soon! 🎶
