I was so excited to learn that our very own Esme is this years St Anne’s Carnival Queen!
St Anne’s club day always fell on our show day so Emily used to arrange for us all to go and watch.celebrate the procession and I know she would have been immensely proud of Esme!

Introducing our St Anne’s Carnival Queen Elect, Esmè👑

“Hello everyone,

My name is Esmé, I’m 13 years old, and I’m truly honoured to be this year’s St Annes Carnival Queen.

I’m proud to say I’m “Sandgrown”– born and raised in St Annes – and I feel very lucky to be part of such a friendly and supportive town.

I’m a committed member of Scouts, Guides, and St John Ambulance, and I play both tennis and squash at St Annes Tennis and Squash Club.

I’m really looking forward to the year ahead – taking part in all the fundraising events, meeting new people, and representing St Annes with joy and dedication.

This year, I’ll be helping raise money for the RNLI. As a coastal town, we know how important their work is in saving lives at sea. The RNLI relies almost entirely on donations from the public – it costs over £250,000 a day to run their lifesaving service, and just launching a lifeboat can cost around £5,000.

I’d like to say a big thank you to the St Annes Carnival Committee for all their hard work and for giving me this amazing opportunity. I’d also like to thank my wonderful retinue – I’m so excited to share this experience with you.

With this year’s theme of Movie Magic, the scene is set, the spotlight is on – and I can’t wait to get started!”

It was absolutely wonderful to go and support Kayla Meades this evening!
I can honestly say we were so incredibly proud of you!
“Pulled” was your grade 7 LAMDA MT exam piece which you rightly gained a high distinction with Emily Laws and I.
Tonight you just blew me away taking it to a whole new level and brought me to 😭

I can not tell you how proud we are of you!

The show is amazing/ the energy costumes lighting choreograpy superb, the young cast were so talented and professional.

A little bit of magic happened whilst you were on stage, a little feather flew down whilst you were singing “you will be found,” coincidence or maybe this was your biggest supporter in the sky sending you a sign she’s watching from the best seat!

Enjoy the rest of the run!

I just wanted to share the beautiful bio Ameerah wrote for the Jamie programme.
Tonight I had the pleasure of watching the performance along with Stacey and Yvonne.
There really are no words to describe how beautiful it was to see you up there.
ELSA is family and it means a lot to us to keep that alive.
This would have been Ameerah’s graduation year and it’s been very emotional her doing this show knowing how much it meant to Emily and her.
ELSA please keep letting us know when you have performances coming up because we would love to support you where we can!
