DramaCo is a Drama and LAMDA Class for teens in the New Forest near Lymington. In an hour and half, pupils gain a group drama session that supports GCSE and one-to-one monologue/singing tuition on Tuesdays at Perkins Youth Hall Pilley. Drama for 11-18 years in a supportive group which is part of the professional Assembled Moments Theatre Company. Please contact for details.

I have worked with ArtfulScribe recently writing a radio play for their audio and found it such a brilliant, rewarding experience. I’ve been to many of their workshops too and highly recommend this for any students who have an interest in writing

Do you like creative writing?
Are you aged between 7-10 or 11-14?

ArtfulScribe have teamed up with Forest Arts Centre & Hampshire Cultural Trust to bring a Young Writers and Junior Writers Club to Forest Arts Centre, New Milton.

As a Forest Arts Junior or Young Writer, you will get the chance to attend workshops led by professional writers, attend Forest Arts performances, see your work published online, in print, and performed on a stage before a live audience.

Workshops are run on Saturday mornings on a weekly basis during term times and offer a safe, supportive environment, encouraging young writers to share work and to give and receive feedback in a respectful way that empowers voices in the workshop community.

Autumn Term: Saturday 9 September - Saturday 9 December 2023 (no class 30 September)

There are two workshops:
7-10-year-olds - 9.30am - 11.00am

11-14-year-olds - 11:30AM - 1:00PM

These sessions are free but Forest Arts and ArtfulScribe are looking for a commitment on attendance. All workshops are suitable for beginners and advanced writers.

Congratulations to all our students last night from Y8-Y11 who performed in a showcase and a range of monologues from Shakespeare, the Greeks, Pygmalion to edgy contemporary drama at Pilley Youth Hall. You did it!
