It is the final weekend of the Summer Collective at the SG which finishes on Bank Holiday Monday when we will also be closing the door on the pop-up gallery too . Heart felt thanks 🙏 to everyone who has popped in & supported us in supporting the plethora of creative talent in and around our fabulous New Forest -🌳🙏🖼️💚🍓 Keep a look out for new projects on the horizon and collaborations with some pretty cool people 😎🙏

Not long until we head out towards Brighton and thrilled to to be bringing some of the fabulous works of Deborah Hillyar back to where her career first started ! Pop in to the Pepita Festival and take a look! Deborah Hillyar is a contemporary artist and designer known for her bold geometric artworks. Her artworks have their roots in textile design, combining shapes, pattern and colour.

Deborah is a graduate of Brighton University, with a BA in Textile Design and spent her career designing knitwear in New York, London and Italy - clients included, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Armani, Hilfiger and DKNY.

Using monoprinting, mark making and collage techniquies, her process is colour driven, with geometric shapes interlocking in quilt-like compositions. Through an organic process, each of her works inform the next, as the negative shapes and off-cuts form the basis of each new work.

Deborah’s work has been shown in exhibitions across the UK and is held in private collections in the UK, Canada, Australia, and the United States. Past exhibitions include, The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Paper Works at the RWA, Chelsea Art Society Open, Bath Society of Artists Open, and Tarpey, St.Barbe and Green And Stone galleries.
