🎶 CALLING ALL LOCAL BANDS & MUSICIANS! 🎶

Bathurst Recreation Trust is looking for bands, solo artists, duos, choirs, acoustic performers, folk groups, brass bands and musicians of all genres to take part in our Bathurst Bandstand Summer Concert Series in beautiful Bathurst Park, Lydney.

We're bringing live music back to the heart of the community and we'd love to showcase the incredible talent we have right here in the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.
🎤 Perform at the iconic Bathurst Bandstand
🎶 All musical genres welcome
🌳 Family-friendly outdoor setting
💷 A contribution of up to £100 per performance is available to help towards expenses
📸 Promotion of your performance across our social media channels
🎵 A fantastic opportunity to perform for local audiences and support community events

The concert series is being funded through a donation made to Bathurst Recreation Trust from the remaining funds of the former Lydney Music Festival, helping to ensure live music continues to be enjoyed within our community.

🎉 What a night at Lydney Town Hall! 🎉

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic private 60th birthday celebration with a fun Hawaiian theme. 🌺🍍

The entertainment was provided by the brilliant Stereoironics , who treated guests to a first half packed with Stereophonics favourites, followed by an energetic Britpop set that had the dance floor full all evening. The atmosphere was incredible, and it was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time celebrating this special milestone.

We love being part of your big occasions, whether it's a birthday, anniversary, wedding reception, or family celebration. Seeing the hall filled with laughter, music, and happy memories is exactly what it's all about.

If you're thinking about booking a special event, please don't leave it too late. Due to our busy programme of community events and private bookings, availability is limited. All Saturdays for the remainder of this year are now fully booked, but we are already taking bookings for next year, so get in touch as soon as possible if you have a date in mind.

A huge thank you to our hardworking staff and committee members who were on hand throughout the evening, helping keep everything running smoothly (and keeping on top of the never-ending glass collection!). It was a late finish for the team, but absolutely worth it for such a fantastic celebration.
