At last it's happened 🙂🙃🙂
It's over 7 weeks since the op put me out of action including not being able to use the kiln. Today 🥳🥳🥳 I was able to use the kiln. Mobility is still not back to normal, but before anyone says it,yes I am too impatient. It is improving every day especially if I don't over do it 🙂.
I can now start prepping examples for next weeks flower workshop taking place with Katie Sanderson Enamelist Do take a look at Katie's page as she has posted info on other workshops.

Not all birds need feeding 🙃I'm still on the mend but doing a lot better, I'm hoping to get back in my workshop soon 🙂

Yesterday's hospital visit was good in many ways, but after they took the dressings off the left foot it was clear it had not had long enough. So more dressing but much lighter ones and instructions for the next 2 weeks for healing the wounds. Unfortunately when I got home I managed to sort of twist my arthritic right knee, which had already been complaining about the 2 to 3" difference in height of each foot. I said "oh dear" 🤣 Anyway enough of the saga here's some more pictures of old work. These are "Dilys Bees" now living around the country.

Things are progressing with the foot operation I had on 11th 🙂 I'm back to the hospital tomorrow when hopefully dressing...

Things are progressing with the foot operation I had on 11th 🙂 I'm back to the hospital tomorrow when hopefully dressings will come off. I still can't be on it long enough to get into my workshop but I'm sure I will be soon. Here's a sequence of photos showing a multi coloured wing for a garden bird I made. It was VERY fidderly 🙂🙃🙂

I popped a few more earrings into The Crafty Foxes Den on Saturday. I doubt if I will be restocking now for a couple of weeks or more, as I have a foot op on Saturday. I will get back in the workshop as soon as it's sensible to get out there. First week will be foot up resting while things knit together. I might need to bring some bits indoors to do, daytime TV is not my thing ! Enjoy the sunshine x

I made these clock faces about 15 years ago and am still using them. It was good seeing them pop up on Facebook. The green swirled/scrolled one had to be done very quickly before it cooled too much.
