We’ve been hard at work in the studio, developing sensory garden sculptures for our exciting collaborative project with Woodlands Secondary School. Here’s a quick peek at how everything’s coming together!

We need all hands on deck to help bring this project to life, so we’re holding a tile decorating session next Tuesday afternoon. Come and make your mark with textured rollers, sculpting tools and more!

This is a free drop-in session open to all, with no booking needed, and we’d love to see you there.

We’re thrilled to be working on an exciting collaborative project with Woodlands Secondary School! 🎉

Inspired by artwork developed during a series of ceramics workshops with the students, we’re creating sensory garden sculptures in partnership with Penrose Roots. These sculptures will be installed within the school grounds, providing a calming, tactile, and inclusive environment.

Celebrating creativity and neurodiversity, students’ ideas are being transformed into permanent artworks that will enrich daily school life. Through sensory engagement and artistic expression, the project is fostering pride, ownership, and connection and will leave a lasting legacy shaped by the students themselves.

This project is supported by Luton Create Fund - funded by Luton Arts, Arts Council England, Luton Rising & UK Shared Prosperity Fund, managed by Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation.
