We wanted to create a comb that gave you the reach you need for a dense coat, without adding unnecessary weight to your hand. The result is the Kushi Volumiser at just 26g, with long, evenly spaced 3.5cm pins that reach deep into the coat and lift as you work.

The lightweight design allows you to lift and fluff the coat without putting too much pressure through the comb, helping to avoid those unwanted dents and giving you a more even finish.

Whether you’re preparing a poodle for sc******ng, working through a fuller coat or simply looking for more lift and consistency, the Kushi Volumiser gives you the depth and reach you need, while staying beautifully light and comfortable in the hand.

Challenging morning starting to CNC new VG10 designs for Kojirō and WOW! VG10 steel is so much more difficult to work with. Plus messing up is way more expensive 🫣😳, however after a couple of false starts and tool changes we got it right 😇

I’m not sure whether to be offended or amused when i keep reading about some newer brands ‘creating’ scissors, oh really?

Did you invest in machining equipment that would have easily bought an Aston Martin, get your hands dirty wrestling with CNC tool heads and blow your mind to the point of throwing things around a workshop, frustrated at uploading G Code, did you stand for hours machine polishing steel to a flawless mirror finish, whilst getting blisters and friction burns on your fingers and knuckles, or did you just sit with a coffee choosing new designs from a catalogue? 🤔✂️

K by Kojirō Panthers in today for their first sharpening, the owner of these was telling (and showing me) how using the Panthers have dramatically improved the overall finish on her Show Poodles.
Whilst I will never claim a particular scissor will make you a better groomer, using quality scissors that suit you and feel comfortable will enhance your own skills 😇✂️

Thank you to everyone that came by at Groomfest today, amazing to see so many of you. Very successful day Clipper Servicing, brought A LOT of sharpening work back to do this week AND Kojirō had an absolutely spectacular successful day.
Pleasure to see so many Kojirō Ambassadors on the Stand, helping out, bringing friends along and generally being top people 🙏😎✂️
