I've not made as much effort on this page as I thought I would cos things went a bit south this year so Started another page for that.

It's kinda what I do.
Page after page to briefly do cent a new hyperfocus before getting bored and buggering off but I think I'm gonna try keep this around too.

Anyway - Scarefest this weekend at Alton Towers.

Genuinely think I might cry when I finally get to step foot on towers street.

Might go hug a tree or Something.

Happy National Rollercoaster Day.

We were in the area sooooo today we visited Pleasurewood Hills! Two theme parks in two days for the little one's 4th birthday. 💕

I may have a thing or two to say about PWH when I've spent a couple of days recovering from the heat, the walking and the social overwhelm! And it might not be what you'd expect 🤔👀

We're at Chessington today.

As a home educator - this is actual hell 😂

So many people, and it's so bloody hot!
If I'm never heard from. Again I probably died from heat stroke in the queue to meet and greet the gruffalo.

The stupid lump had better be worth it 😭

10/10 do not recommend theme parks during the 6 weeks holiday in 29 degree weather.

Sigh. Haven't had a chance to make a proper go of this page so far. We've had considerably less theme park visits this year than we had anticipated but I will stick around and try to share more from my favourite theme park creators and hopefully build a bit more content after the 6 week holidays. We're going to chassington on Friday which, honestly, I'm kinda dreading as it's going to be far too hot, especially in Central London, and I suspect it is going to be extremely busy.

Oh well, at least it'll give me something to moan about on here lol

What's happening here then? Shame we can't make it on national rollercoaster day! Will be the first time in three years ...

Universal UK planning permission submitted!

This is shaping up to be a very exciting project. Hard to imagine it will be built in such a short space of time. We are still new to theme parks but even I can tell this is going to be impressive.

And with Merlin's losses at Alton Towers having been a hot topic this week, is Universal looming going to give them a well needed kick up the arse or might we see new management in the future?
