For the first time ever the pantomime version of Sleeping Beauty is to be staged at the Marina Theatre and the ultimate battle of good over evil depicted by the cruel and conniving Carabosse in combat with the loveable Lilac Fairy will be brought to life in a far from sleepy production! Fairy Carabosse has not been invited to the Christening of Princess Aurora so she casts a spell that will see th

e girl prick her finger and die by her 18th birthday. Despite King Crumble banishing all sharp objects from the kingdom, despite the care of the colourful Nurse Katy Cough-Drop and despite the merriment of Muddles, it’s going to take all the magic of the wand waving Lilac Fairy to turn this tale into a happy ever after ending...although the true love kiss of a handsome Prince will make sure we’re spinning dreams in pantoland this Christmas!

We are thrilled to be welcoming back our dear friend Terry Gleed this year in our 2025 pantomime Sleeping Beauty! 💜✨

Did you know that this will be Terry's 10th panto season with us? His first visit to our theatre was for Sleeping Beauty in 2015 when he starred alongside Chef and TV personality Rustie Lee. 👩‍🍳
