The Arts Week Painting Competition 🎨🎗️

Once again Largo will host it’s popular annual Painting Challenge as part of Largo Arts Week 2026��On Thursday 23rd July artists of all experiences are invited to join us in and around Largo to produce a drawing or painting of this inspiring landscape.��Prizes will be awarded for ages 16 and over. All entries under the age of 16 will receive a voucher for an ice cream from Zubi’’s shop at 1 Main Street.��After choosing a location, each artist has a day to create their artwork. They use their own materials and work in any style, medium they wish (unfortunately we cannot display entries in oils or diluted oil pastels).��Entries will be put on display at the Crusoe although we ask you take your painting away by 6.30pm. There will be no arrangements for storing artwork.��Registration will open at 9.00am until 11.00am at the Crusoe Hotel where we ask you pay a nominal fee of £4��Your paper/canvas or sketchpad will be stamped. Under 16 yrs old entries are free.��Completed works will be received between 4.00 and 5.00pm��Judging and prize giving will take place at 5.30pm

Wow, what a brilliant opening weekend for Largo Arts Week 2026! ☀️🎨

The weather has been fantastic, the artworks are incredible, and it’s been amazing seeing so many new faces discovering us for the first time alongside our wonderful returning visitors. Welcome back! 👋✨

From incredible art and delicious food to live music and rocking nights, the energy has been unmatched (and let’s not forget that gorgeous sunshine!). 🎶🍔

✨ An Evening of Poetry at Lily’s Larder! ✨
Largo Arts is thrilled to present a fantastic evening of poetry, hosted by the wonderful Sean & Janet from Thirsty Books.

Whether you love listening to spoken word or have a piece of your own you’ve been dying to share, this night is for you! We’ll have a brilliant line-up of readings from a range of poetry writers—and the floor is open if you want to join in. Let’s do it!

Largo Arts Week returns for its 7th year from Saturday, July 18th to Sunday, July 26th, 2026. This year's festival shines a spotlight on the incredible talent of local youth alongside a fantastic lineup of established artists and performers.

Artist studios are open everyday between 10am - 5pm, behind every gate or door a world of creativity awaits.

Largo Arts Week is truly Of the Community, For the Community, By the Community. Join us for nine days of artistic discovery, entertainment, and community spirit.
