Yesterday was a day I’ll never forget.

I was incredibly excited and honoured to meet His Majesty The King during his visit to Blundell Park. I was lucky enough to shake his hand and briefly chat with him about our town. It was a proud moment and a real privilege to represent Grimsby.

One thing that surprised me was just how softly spoken he is! During the table discussion, I struggled to hear some of what he was saying, which unfortunately means I look like a right moody bum in some of the photos 🤣. I can assure everyone I was absolutely delighted to be there!

It was fantastic to see Grimsby showcased on such a significant occasion, and I hope His Majesty enjoyed hearing about the pride, passion and potential that exists across our community.

A truly memorable day. 👑👑
