Most of our members are women.

But honestly?

We’d love more men.

If you love singing, having a laugh and meeting good people, you’ll fit right in.

You don’t need to be good.

That’s kind of the point.

Just turn up and give it a go.

Sometimes life gets heavy.

And when it does, people often stop doing the things that make them feel good.

That’s usually the exact moment they need them most.

So many of our choir members joined after loss.

After heartbreak.

After big life changes.

Not because they wanted to perform.

Because they needed something to hold onto.

Singing does that.

It gives you breath when you feel breathless.

It gives you company when life feels lonely.

And somehow, in a room full of people singing badly, you find bits of yourself again.

That’s powerful.

Somewhere along the way, adults forget they’re allowed to have fun.

Proper fun.

Not organised fun.

Not productive fun.

Just silly, joyful, pointless fun.

Kids get it.

They sing loudly.

Dance badly.

Laugh at nothing.

Adults?

We worry what we look like.

We apologise before we even start.

That’s why a feel-good choir matters.

Because for two hours, all that disappears.

You can be daft.

Loud.

A bit wild.

And nobody bats an eyelid.

That freedom is rare.

And honestly, it’s needed.

When people hear the word choir, they often imagine uniforms, sheet music, auditions and being told off for singing the wrong note.

That’s not us.

At Can’t Sing Choir, we sing because it feels good.

Simple as that.

No auditions.

No music reading.

No being split into fancy sections.

Just one room full of people singing loudly, laughing loads and forgetting their worries for a couple of hours.

It’s a choir for non-singers really.

Or people who think they can’t sing.

Turns out… most of them can.

They just needed somewhere safe to try.
