Finished! This is the first time I’ve used gold leaf in my painting. It’s quite tricky to apply because the little sheets are so crumbly but I really enjoyed trying something new and it provides a brilliant shine!

Acrylic and gold leaf on canvas. Inspired by summer walks around Conought Waters in Epping Forest.
