🤍Seven months old for the gorgeous Louis and look at those tiny hands and feet captured🤍

This is such a lovely stage to freeze because they’re changing almost by the day. Those little fingers are becoming more purposeful, those toes are getting stronger and before you know it, they’re crawling, standing and filling the whole room with their little personality.

🤍My standard black frame and Louis’ silver hand and foot casting has SO much beautiful detail captured. Every crease, every tiny line and those little individual fingers and toes that you’ll never get quite the same again🤍

Those little toes you could hold in one hand somehow turn into big feet before you’ve even had chance to take it all in and before you know it some more little feet arrive and those first small feet become bigger. Foot 3d castings are a fave of mine they change so much from baby to toddler to older, loosing the chunk as they grow.

I love this take on my family tree frame because baby isn’t simply placed alongside Mum and Dad. Their little hand and foot sit at the top, with Mum and Dad’s half hands underneath, lifting and supporting them.

It’s such a beautiful way to show your family as it really is. The little person at the centre, surrounded by the people who will always be there to catch them. In a square standard frame with beautifully bronzed casts capturing all of those lovely little details like rings and bracelets.

Creating this memorial men’s channel ring was such a special part of a collection I made for a loving family who had lost their precious boy, it was an honour to be entrusted with such a beautiful collection of pieces from pawprint jewellery to ashes and fur memorial pieces.

🤍When a fur baby is such a huge part of your family, losing them leaves a space that can never really be filled. So when they asked me to create keepsakes to hold onto a little piece of him, I knew how important each piece would be🤍

This ring was made with Simba’s ashes carefully set within the channel inlay, creating something personal and completely unique with a gorgeous maroon colour base stone. A quiet way to carry his memory, every single day.

How can half a year pass by so quickly? Well it really does!

🤍One minute you’re counting those tiny newborn fingers and toes, and before you know it, they’re six months old and changing by the day and experiencing food, the world and their special people around them🤍

One minute they’ve got that soft, wispy baby hair and then suddenly it’s time for their first haircut. That first little curl you tuck away because you just can’t bring yourself to throw it away. You know the one.

This beautiful pear shaped keepsake ring turns that tiny piece of childhood into something you can actually keep close. A gorgeous brown curl winds up and around the side and bottom of the pear, finished with delicate gems around the base.

It may only take 10 minutes to snip but it holds so much meaning and creating a jewellery piece out of a lock of hair gives a little heirloom piece to hold onto forever.

I think there’s sometimes this idea that baby castings need to happen when they’re tiny, newborn and curled up…but honestly, looking frames and casts like these makes you change your mind or it should.

Oscar was 7 months old when these were captured, and there is something so special about seeing those little hands and feet exactly as they were at this stage.

🤍capturing a moment isn’t always about the age they are,
it’s about capturing ‘them’🤍

The little toes you spend your days kissing. The tiny fingers that won’t stay tiny for long. The stage you think you’ll remember forever, but somehow time still manages to blur the edges.

🤍That’s what I love about what I do. Creating something you can look back at years from now and instantly remember just how little they once were🤍
