We certainly have been fortunate with beautiful weather this summer. Was a cracking day last Wednesday when I performed close-up magic at the wedding reception of Henry and Adriana at Stowe House near Thame. What a stunning venue! Received a super review for the couple today, ‘ we booked Ian to perform at our wedding last week, and he was absolutely fantastic. Feedback from our guests was brilliant. Everyone I spoke to said how impressed they were, and several made a point of telling me how good he was. He managed to get around plenty of different groups throughout the day and clearly left a real impression with many of our guests, still debating how he managed some of the tricks. Ian was also a pleasure to deal with and fitted seamlessly into the day. We are really pleased we booked him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to add something a little different and memory to their wedding or event thanks again, Ian! - Henry. You never know who you will be working with at the next gig. Yesterday at a wedding at The Langley Hotel, I met a celebrity impersonator, Tim Oliver, impersonating David Brent from The Office. Very funny when in character, and lovely chap when out of character. Tim Oliver

What a magical place Bekonskot Model Village is. Based in the Town of Beaconsfield, it’s a tiny town filled with various miniature scenes, and was established in 1929. Well worth a visit. I was entertaining at a corporate event for Leigh Duncan Solicitors. It was a tad chilly for a summer evening, but everyone was in warm spirits and folks got very involved in the magic. A most busy and awesome day last Saturday with a wedding in the afternoon, and a 70th celebration in the evening. Bit of travel between the two, and centre of Oxford is mad to drive in on a Saturday night. This was where my second event was held, at the Frewan Club. It is a private club in central Oxford. Super staff and lovely ambiance. I entertained Sarah’s guests for her 70th including strolling magic at the Reception, table magic in-between the courses as well as a short stand-up piece for everyone after the dinner. It clearly went well, as I had a Google review yesterday from Sarah, ‘Ian gave a fantastic magical performance at my 70th birthday party. He mixed so well with all the guests doing his magic to small groups, moving around the room and ensuring everyone was enthralled. Ian did an event for us a few years ago and was just as good, twice!’ Make some magical memories with me and get in touch.
