All of us here at Lossie Folk Club are deeply saddened by the recent passing of regular member, Angie MacDonald.

She was a bonnie singer, she also became very talented on the tin whistle and she was extremely talented at being a lovely woman.

Angie was part of the "McKenzie clan" of New Elgin and like her Dad, Willie and brother, Ron before her, we feel lucky to have shared in her company and kindness.

She always added a happy, warm glow of friendliness when she was around. She will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to Kenny and the family.

Huge thanks to a'body who came to the festival yesterday- incredible 12 hours of songs, tunes, sessions friendship and floor spots.

That sense of community and belonging that music gives can't be fully described or matched!
