**Paper Making Workshop no2**

Today we explored the art of bookmaking using handmade paper and traditional Japanese bookbinding techniques. From carefully selecting handcrafted sheets to stitching and assembling their own unique books, each creation reflected patience, skill, and imagination.

It was wonderful to see ideas come to life through the timeless craft of handmade books while celebrating the beauty of paper, design, and storytelling.

✨ Slowstitch Workshop ✨

What a lovely day spent stitching, chatting, and creating together. 💕

Run by Dereth of , the shirt cuffs were transformed with beautiful layers of fabric, lace, beads, buttons, and plenty of colourful visible hand stitching, each one becoming a unique piece of wearable art.

It was wonderful to see everyone's creativity unfold stitch by stitch, with no rush, just time to enjoy the process and celebrate the beauty of handmade details.

I managed a sneak peak into 'Mutts and Margs' workshop in the studio yesterday.

Whitney really does go above and beyond to make her workshops a full experience. She dressed the room, had music vibes played through our massive screen, beautiful packaged welcome packs with personalised stickers along with freshly made margaritas in 2 delicious flavours.

If you have a chance to book future workshops, I would highly recommend doing so.

What a glorious morning creating Indian Block Printed Tote bags with

Such lovely wooden blocks to choose from and a wonderful array of colours to print with.

Everyone completed their fabulous tote bags ready to take straight home.

Thanks to those who attended, was lovely chatting to everyone, and hopefully we will see you for more.workshops in the future.

**Paper Making Workshop** Festival of Hands 2026

What an absolutely brilliant morning we've had in the studio at the first of our Paper Workshops, and the first workshop of the Festival of Hands!

Using a variety of coloured paper pulps made from recycled egg boxes, card, and shredded office paper, along with dried flowers and silk fibres, everyone had the opportunity to experiment and create.

Each participant produced multiple handmade papers in a range of sizes, with every piece being unique and full of character.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a wonderful, creative morning. We loved seeing your ideas come to life and look forward to welcoming you back for future workshops.

'Connecting Through Creativity'

A massive thank you to everyone involved in the Connecting Through Creativity Exhibition. From the exhibiting artists to every visitor who came through the doors, you have all helped create such a brilliant exhibition.

It has been a real pleasure meeting so many new people, chatting about creativity, and receiving such warm and positive responses throughout the event. We really have connected through creativity!

This has been our biggest exhibition to date, featuring 27 fabulous exhibitors, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and creativity that made it such a success. Thank you all for being part of it.

We look forward to opening the studio again soon for future events.
