I am buzzing to say we have some exciting news coming soon. I have had time to settle into my new surroundings in a beautiful new country. I have met some amazing new and incredibly inspiring people and I am feeling like the time is right to open up new doors.

I am sorry firstly that things have been very quiet around here since December. Myself and my family have decided to move from London back to Scotland and it's been full steam ahead for the last few months.

I am hoping to still continue my workshops and parties once I am all settled up North but for the time being, and with a new house to decorate and jazz up - it might be a wee while.

Thank you for all of the support over the years London and to all of my customers and friends I met over the years, I will miss you dearly. I have absolutely LOVED living in this beautiful town. It's been a lot of fun but it's now time to see what Scotland offers so let the new venture begin.

I'm so excited to announce that on the 12th of March I will be running a garment upcycling Workshop with at my favourite arts cafe House of Denna in Woolwich.

Tickets can be purchased directly from strangers in the city, so if you are someone looking to make, create and meet lovely strangers with the same interests as you then this workshop is for you.

Bring along any woven garment and create something unique with strangers.

Hand stitched scrap filled mesh heart β€οΈπŸ’•πŸͺ‘🧡

How to do:
1. Save scraps of yarn, thread, odd socks, single gloves or any other fabric item destined for the bin
2. Using scissors cut up all of scraps into little pieces, creating cool colourful filler. (You can use this Eco-filler to fill most things even teddy bears).
3. Next draw a shape using a chalk pen onto your garment. I chose a heart but you could do anything you like.
4. Once you have drawn your chosen shape, lay mesh on top and tac into place with a needle and thread - leaving a little hole to be able to push the homemade filling in with a chop stick or pencil.
5. Once the mesh is tacked into place, cut away the excess mess.
6. Once your shape is filled with your Eco-filler, grab embroidery stitch and go around the edges with your choice of edge stitch. I chose to freestyle a satin edge stitch in bright pink.

Please let me know if you try this technique and manage to save any odd socks and other fibres from landfill πŸ˜„

Sorry I have been lacking in posts recently. The last couple of months have been busy with family stuff and hospital visits. I am currently recovering and resting from getting my appendix out on valentine's day. My head has been all over the place so I wanted to try a mini craft tonight as there is nothing better for the mind that something creative.

Come with me as I turn fabric scraps, odd socks and single gloves into a cool colourful mesh filled heart on my favourite jacket.

I litterially throw nothing away and I am always coming up with cool ways to recycle scraps. I love how this cute little heart turned out ❀️

I'll be teaching this technique at a
Event soon at . More details on that coming very soon πŸ’•

Today's trash treasure haul came from a little Park in Lapland, Finland. We started the Day sledging and I noticed little bits of colour popping through the fresh snow so me and my little helper went on a trash treasure hunt. We found lots of broken sledge pieces that will look great on my 'Trash Hatter' Artwork when we get home later today.

The trash reasure hunt was followed by a family snowball fight and now we are checking out Santa's village. I've got so many photos and videos to share of the last few days here it's been -35 (Baltic) and it's been the best family holiday we have been on.

A throwback to December and an upcycled denim workshop that I did with Sarah and her gorgeous mum at

We started the session discussing ideas for their jackets. Sarah went for a country and western style theme, where as her mum went for the more freestyle approach, creating a large applique from some scrap fabric from our trash trunk.

Both ladies tried their hand at some embroidery and added some ready-made iron on patches. Mum even had a go at an embroidered collar and placket on her jacket which looked super cool 😎

Both ladies had a brilliant evening as they sipped on mulled wine and shared stories with me. It was a real privilege to meet them both ❀️

Thank you Sarah for the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review on classbento

I can't quite believe we are nearly a week into January already. I am sorry that I am just getting around to wishing you a happy new year now πŸŽ‰ definitely fashionably late heehee.

In march 2025 I set myself a goal that by the end of the year I would end my bar business and that I would be delivering workshops and somehow I made it happen. I am very proud and honestly so thankful to everyone that has supported my transition from bar owner to creative workshop creator.
I started early in the year with some wooden earring workshops for a friend's hen do, then progressed to custom garment workshops, re-cycled forever flowers, A Halloween headdress workshop, a few kids workshops and parties and then ended with my recycled toy wreath workshops which kind of went bananas. Thank you to everyone that bought a wreath to I am so grateful.

I am so excited about 2026 I cannot wait to share what's next......

Happy Christmas Eve everyone πŸŽ„πŸ’šπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‡

WOW what a crazy busy weekend, I am shattered so this is a short post but I will update properly on each workshop this week.

FRIDAY - I ran a private up-cycled denim workshop at House of Denna with a lovely mother and her daughter.

SATURDAY - This was the closing of my bar at the Royal Arsenal Market followed by a MADNESS gig at the 02.

SUNDAY - Today I had this beautiful bunch of ladies at my alternative wreath workshop . I was incredibly impressed with their makes. All 100% unique and it was so cute seeing the kids helping their mummies choose what toys they wanted from the re-cycled toy trash trunks. ♻️
