Being present is everything 🎨✨

When we anchor ourselves in this exact moment—brush to canvas, breath to body—we break free from the endless loop of overthinking.

No dwelling on yesterday's mistakes, no worrying about tomorrow's to-dos. Just you, your paint, and the now.

Next time stress creeps in, pause.

Take a few deep breaths. Notice the colors mixing on your palette, the texture of the canvas, the way light hits your workspace.

This simple act of presence shifts everything—reducing anxiety and bringing you back to what matters most: this moment, this stroke, this breath.
Research shows that presence-focused practices genuinely decrease stress and improve our overall wellbeing. But you don't need a study to know what your heart already feels when you're fully immersed in creating.
Where will your brush take you today?

Overthinking stealing your peace?

Here’s your reminder to practice the art of letting go. Whether it’s meditation, yoga, painting or simply taking a few deep breaths, these practices teach you something powerful: you can observe your thoughts without letting them control you.

When you create space between you and your thoughts, the overthinking stops. No judgment. No attachment. Just presence.

Start small:
* 5 minutes of meditation in the morning
* 3 deep breaths when anxiety creeps in
* A moment of stillness before bed

Your mind will wander—that’s normal. The practice is in gently bringing yourself back, again and again, to this moment. The only one that truly exists.

Save this as your reminder to pause, breathe, and return to peace.

Don’t forget to book your space for mindful painting workshop on Saturday 31st January. More details in the bio link or DM for more information #

We're thrilled to announce the launch of the Art of Letting Go Society—monthly paint, sip & sushi workshops in central London with fine art artist Hua Jing Li.

This December, we hosted our very first workshop, and what a beautiful beginning it was. Thank you to the wonderful women who joined us and made it so special. For three and a half hours, we created a cosy sanctuary away from the noise of everyday life—no experience needed, no pressure, just permission to play with acrylics and see what unfolds.

Together, we explored turning simple shapes into flowers and blending colours. Halfway through, we paused for sushi and wine, then returned to finish our beautiful creations.

This is just the first of many workshops to come. We can't wait to welcome more of you into this space.
