These pictures were taken by some of our participants last weekend on their "Before Sunset" promenade! Some of the pictures were taken with the devices used during the performance, some others were sent afterwards by participants. Not everyone has sent pictures, so if you have one you'd like to share, we can always add to the album! Thank you for the pictures and for taking part! ;)

Diary entries for an epic ending:

Friday. The first day of We Are Now Festival. An intriguing day for us and our participants alike! "What will happen to me?” "You'll be transported to another country!" "Oh, wow!". For now, Catalina and Cristina in Bucharest, Nefeli in Athens and Jakub in Warsaw, all of them funny and poetical beings, eager to get things going!

Saturday, the second day. Good connections. Lots of participants. On a Southern Hemisphere winter's night, Jack was going on an adventure through the streets of Perth. In London it was mostly cloudy and there was even a mild shower in the afternoon, but people still took part with umbrellas, watching the sun go down in Warsaw alongside Jakub, magician of heights. Then the sun went down on Primrose Hill. The city lights were trembling in the distance, while a group of 4 participants were enjoying the view of London and simultaneously that of New York, guided by Jess. And those are just snippets of this amazing day!

Sunday the 12th. The last day of the festival. The first messages that Marina (director of "Before Sunset/After Sunrise") saw in the morning were from Jack and Cristina - in Perth it was pouring with rain, while in Bucharest the forecast also showed thunder storms in the evening! And in London it was raining as well! But Cristina and Lucian fiercely fought the Bucharest weather and the rain actually stopped, so participants could see the Bucharest sunset! In Athens it was cloudy, but sunset is anyway charming with Nefeli by your side. What about London? Well, the sun suddenly came up just before the start of the afternoon performances! At the top of Primrose Hill, a surprise was awaiting the participants - the colored tail of a rainbow! What an epic ending for "Before Sunset/After Sunrise" and for We Are Now Festival!

Until next time, goodbye! Who knows what part of the world you'll find us in!
Signed by: Marina Diana Hanganu - director, and amazing performers: Cristina Ispas, Nefeli Tsipouridi, Jakub Snochowski, Lucian Teodor Rus, Jack Davenport, Catalina Balalau and Jess Kaufman.

P.S.
We thank the We Are Now Festival team for an exciting weekend of technology-based performance at the Roundhouse and the Romanian Cultural Institute in London for their support!

Want to experience a little bit of winter in June? Then follow Jack to the Southern Hemisphere - PERTH, Western Australia!

Jack Davenport is a photographer and writer, originally from the city of Preston in the UK. He has retraced some of his family footsteps to Australia, where his day jobs in child protection have taken him across the country, through remote communities, and busy city areas.
Enthused by reading fantasy and science fiction as a child, Jack has sought to capture some of that abstract spirit with a blend of real-life experiences in his writing.
His photography, with a particular emphasis on surroundings, a sense of place, and a focus on fine art photography, has featured in several exhibitions, The Guardian newspaper, and a Tourism Western Australia promotional video.
